Transformation of a Home
Before and After
It is often hard to imagine when you see a beautiful home the possibility that it may not have always looked that way.
Simple is the word that comes to mind when I look at this photograph. To achieve a simple look is much more involved and challenging than you think.
I would Love to share with you the images of this home Before my clients and I started on a major renovation.
The Living Room Before and After.
I would have to say the most significant changes made to the room are the ceiling and the fireplace…oh and the windows! What was once odd niches on either side of the fireplace became built in cabinetry and millwork. The coffered ceiling became one large recess with beadboard all the woodwork was painted white for a clean, fresh, simple look.
We changed the Formal Dining Room into a seating area and added millwork panels to the wall.
The Office became an all purpose room, able to function as a Dining Room with an extension table that expands to accommodate 12. A built in on the opposite wall is home to a desk and file’s and storage as well as a TV.
The Kitchen was remodeled to have a single island rather than two. All new cabinets, appliances, windows and a soffit was dropped over the cabinets to avoid the open space. A beamed ceiling adds additional architectural details.
Master Bedroom was once home to a wet bar and cabinets. We simplified the room, replaced the doors and windows, removed the cabinets.
An outdated BBQ area was converted into an Outdoor Seating with fireplace.
Even the Pool was renovated by changing the interior to a dark gem coat for an infinity edge over the lagoon.
