Art Palm Beach was everything I expected and more!
I had a great time this weekend visiting Art Palm Beach at the Palm Beach Convention Center. The show exceeded my expectations and then some. There was a great mix of art and a great varied crowd. It was busy, but not crazy busy where you bump elbows with every person. The exhibits were nicely spaced and the traffic patter to go through was great. My favorite part was the interactive installations. Here are some images from the show. Pardon my amateur photography
- Starting Out the show with a little Champs!
- Chagall
- Picasso
- Picasso
- Lichtenstein
- Bedazzled Black Card
I loved the “Fake Fulfillment Center” by Shawn Kolodny. It was witty, fun, interactive and a strong social message. Here is an article about it from
MARNI BLICKMAN Co-Founder ALCHEMY.

This group of artists created art you could vandalize! If you look close you can see my signature on the “Rothko.” The TV screens were live art changing with every person that walked in front of the camera.
- Yes, that’s me behind the mask.
I can’t wait to go again next year.
Since we were in the area I made a point to check out the new Restoration Hardware in downtown West Palm Beach. The store has a restaurant on the top floor. It is beautiful! The food was really good too. I had an Arugla salad that was Huge! I was tossed between that and a French Dip, but since I’d “partaken” in some livations, I decided to go for the slightly diet friendly salad. Even thought I went that route starting with a procuuitto plate to start kindof killed the diet friendly meal. (oops!) My friend had the Lobster Roll and raved. I would say it’s a limited menu but thre really is something for everyone.
