What Collected Coastal Luxury Really Means
When I say Collected Coastal Luxury, I’m not talking about seashell lamps and wicker furniture. To me, it’s about creating a home that feels like you—layered, personal, and effortless.
My design philosophy comes down to three words:
Collected → Your Vero Beach home should tell your story. It’s mixing heirlooms with new finds, curated art with casual treasures.
Coastal → A nod to where we live sea side Vero Beach, Florida —light, breezy, sun-kissed—but elevated beyond the cliché. Think subtle textures, airy palettes, and a connection to the outdoors.
Luxury → Not about flash, but about quality. Well-made furniture that lasts, fabrics that feel good to the touch, and details that make everyday living easier.

Collected Coastal Luxury
It’s a design philosophy that looks beautiful but, more importantly, lives beautifully.
It’s not just a look—it’s a lifestyle. One that feels lived-in, elegant, and uniquely yours.
Design Mistakes I See All the Time
We’ve all made a decorating choice we regretted later.
(I once ordered a rug online that looked perfect… until it showed up!)
Here are a few repeat offenders I notice again and again:
Matching Everything → buying sets from one store feels more like a catalog than a home.
Please don't do it!
Ignoring how you live → delicate fabrics + kids/pets = disaster.
We've all been there and regretted it.
Forgetting finishing touches → pillows, art, and accessories make it feel personal.
The good news? They’re easy fixes that completely change how your home feels.

How to Dress Up Grocery Store Orchids
Thank goodness — grocery store orchids are easy to pop in the cart and go.
But am I the only one who feels that the basic ceramic pot could use an upgrade?
With a bit of design magic (and not much effort), they can go from meh to magnifique.
I’m sharing my favorite tricks to dress that orchid up.
Orchid Styling Secrets:
* Ditch the Plastic Pot
Pop that orchid into something beautiful—like a stone planter, ceramic cachepot, or even a silver champagne bucket.
I have quite the collection of matte white McCoy pottery that I put my orchids in. Check out some of them HERE

✨ Add a Layer of Moss
Cover the base with reindeer moss or sheet moss for that lush, layered look.
Bonus points for adding decorative rocks or a curly willow stake.

✨ Go Big with a Cluster
Group 2–3 orchids in a low tray for instant drama. It’s giving Palm Beach conservatory vibes.
✨ Pick a Palette
Stick to all white for a clean, spa-like look—or go bold with hot pinks and bright yellows.
✨ Finish with Flair
Wrap the pot in linen or tie it with a velvet ribbon. Add a gold butterfly clip if you’re feeling fancy. Yes, it’s a little extra. That’s the point.
