9 Design Renovations - A Look Back
Just a few of the many interior renovations I've done over the years.

I have said this a time or two in the past, I love-love-love a good before and after story. And by far my favorite are home renovation makeovers. I don't know about you, but I was always a huge fan of the Architectural Digest Before and After issue. Eagerly waiting for that special issue to come out each and every year. These days I get to reminisce over before and after pictures of renovation projects I have completed in these 20 plus years in business as a designer. The proof as they say, is in the pictures and the images still amaze me.
Lets Take a look back a few.
1. Master Bathroom Condo Renovation

One of my favorite bathroom renovations was done not that long ago in a Jupiter Island condo. So many challenges with renovations, and condos add just that extra bit more! See the entire transformation in this blog post Jupiter Island Bathroom Renovation
2. Moorings Makeover
A more recent redecorating project in the Moorings for a bachelor with an eclectic art collection.

The counter stools are from Williams Sonoma Home and I had the seats upholstered in a blue suede.

3. Windsor Billiard Room Revamp
A long narrow billiard room was a dark and dated space was transformed into a rich with texture multi purpose room. I added raffia to the walls above the existing stained chair rail.

4. Kitchen Update in Orchid Island
One of my least favorite things about old kitchens - any space really - are cabinets that are open above. In this kitchen renovation by dropping a soffit above the new cabinets transformed the room. Not to mention new cabinets, lightning, layout and oh everything!

5. Living Room Update
Details make the difference every time. Whenever I have an opportunity to add mill work I jump at the chance. In this Orchid Island Living Room Renovation I created a true focal point of the fireplace by adding a new mantel and woodwork details. I can't over look how much a difference simple window treatments make as well.

6. Fireplace Revitalized & Simplified
Another fireplace makeover but this one is all about the fireplace. When less is more, less is more. But before more was more! Oh my how awful is that fireplace before? Here's one more Fireplace Makeover Story

7. Bathroom from Drab to Fab
When I think back to what this bathroom looked like before, I almost can't believe it. I am so glad that my clients trusted me enough to see my vision and run with it. This bathroom started out with an odd configuration and bad selections. With all the changes it turned into a sleek simple bathroom retreat! If I do say so myself! See the entire process here.

8. Most Loved Kitchen Redo
Yes, indeed this is one of my most loved kitchen renovations. Everyone seems to resonate with it. The truth is I added the chairs in the breakfast nook on a whim and WoW! My clients loved it and I've heard that many people have taken this as inspiration for their own kitchens.

Before
It was a perfectly adequate kitchen before, but we kicked it up a notch or two. To see all the before and after photos check it out and read Transformation Tuesday Kitchen Renovation.

9. Kitchen from Cottage to Clean Lines
In this kitchen renovation we didn't even change the cabinets and yet were able to achieve a better flow and look. See the entire project in Vero Designer in a California Remodel

The stainless bar height table is something I designed for a previous home of these clients. We all loved it so much we decided to do it again. See the original table in this post Millbrook Modern.

So there you are, just a few of the many remodels I've done over the years. Fun to look back at them.
